Affiliate Disclosure
LearnLapidary is free to read. To help support the site, some of the product links on it are affiliate links. If you buy through one of them, the site may earn a small commission, and the price you pay does not change.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
What this means for you
- You pay the same price whether or not you use our links.
- A link only earns a commission if you complete a qualifying purchase.
- Using our links helps support the site, but it is never required.
How we choose what to recommend
Each equipment page gives a pick at three levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced. We choose products for what they offer at that level, and we try to describe their limits as well as their strengths. We do not list prices, because they change often.
The Raytech Shaw is the machine my father uses, which is why it appears on the equipment pages where it applies. We link to its maker directly and earn nothing from it.
Links that earn nothing
Some links go straight to a maker or a dealer, for example Ultra Tec or Kingsley North. These are direct links and do not earn the site anything.
Sponsored content
If the site ever carries sponsored content, it will be labelled as such.
Prices and availability
Prices, stock and product details change often and can differ by seller or country. Always check the seller’s page before you buy.
